About Sharon

Sharon is a passionate and experienced counsellor, who supports people with a variety of mental health, emotional and behavioural difficulties, those who experience a loss of meaning in their lives, or those who are seeking a greater sense of fulfilment.

Sharon has completed a BA degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Youth Studies, holds a BA (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is currently pursuing a MA degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Sharon has gained extensive experience in the Mental Health sector having worked as a crisis volunteer with HSE funded organization Text50808, where she provided a safe place for individuals who struggled during late nights. Sharon has also worked as a suicide prevention and intervention volunteer with Haven Hub based in Limerick city, where she provided support on a one-to-one basis. She has worked as a CBT counsellor at Evolve Mental Health, where she found her passion for CBT while working with clients of different backgrounds.

Additionally, Sharon has facilitated numerous group sessions surrounding a variety of mental health issues and has extended these sessions to participants on an international level overseas in Pakistan.

Along with the above experience, Sharon is an accredited member of APCP (Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and partakes in regular clinical supervision.
